Open Skies Families are Invited to Enroll Learners in TCA’s Elective Courses at 50% off of our regular tution rates
At TCA we are very excited about the opportunities that home education offers for learners. Because we are a private school, we are able to come alongside families who want support in specific areas where many seek support. If your family is interested in participating in our school as a homeschooling family, we would love to discuss the available options we have for you. Because each family’s situation is unique, we would like to talk with you specifically about how we may be able to customize our services for you.
Home educators seek us out for a number of reasons including;
- Enrichment and elective classes
- Academic coursework in areas where families want more support
- College and career advising
- Part-time enrollment
- Course evaluation and review
- Transcription of courses (courses must be reviewed for our transcription service)
- Student ID’s (with part-time enrollment)
- Letters of Verification for DMV offices (with part-time enrollment)

Want to try one of our classes? Homeschool students are welcome to join our enrichment program.
These engaging, interactive, and fun activity-filled sessions are designed to provide a self-directed learning experience. However, you are not left entirely on your own. While you are welcome to progress the material at your own rate and completely independently, you will also be given opportunities to interact with other learners in discussion forums and live class sessions. We give all of our students, regardless of age, the chance to grow in knowledge and skills. Many of our adult learners will find our programs useful in navigating career transitions and/or gaining confidence before returning to college.
Our courses are:
- Self-Paced and Self-Directed – Complete them at your own pace.
- Facilitated by experienced college faculty and/or certified teachers. Most have Masters or Doctorate level degrees.
- Allow students to keep working with the course until they master the concepts at the level they chose
- Built upon a state of the art, nationally accredited curriculum
- ADA compliant and scaleable for students who learn differently
- Small, relationally based classes. Our facilitators have a passion for their subject and for mentoring motivated learners.
- Designed to specifically build college readiness skills.

About Our Curriculum:
Your partnership with TCA gives you access to over 80 courses. Our curriculum meets state requirements and is authored by certified teachers. It is used by private and public schools across the country. Our courses are designed to be self-paced and our homeschooling families have the freedom to set their own calendars. Each course is facilitated by a certified teacher or college professor allowing your learner the opportunity to receive quality feedback and interaction. Our curriculum is non-sectarian and inclusive. Our facilitators are trained to nurture self-directed learning. If you are planning to transfer to a Texas middle school or high school at a later date, many of our courses have direct transfer equivalencies and are even used in Texas public school districts. We can advise you on which classes align directly to TEA TEKS when you are selecting your program. We will provide you a transcript of your course credits with TCA and a letter from our Dean’s office explaining both course alignments and the credentialing of the instructor who facilitates your class. Please keep in mind that transfer credits will officially be determined by the school district that you chose to transfer into.
